Oh I love pirate books. Why? No clue! lol Just something about those swashbucklers! Thanks for the list – I’m writing them down now!

avast! I love me a pirate story. On that list, I have read Master of Paradise, The Pirate Next Door, Pirates, and the Pirate Prince (love that Gaelen Foley). I checked my library’s online database and the only one they had which I haven’t already read is A Pirate of Her Own. Which is now on hold for moi. woot!

ciara, thanks for adding me to the windflower tour list. I’ve been trying to get my hands on a copy of the book for ages to no avail.

  3. Ciara Says:

Arrrrrrr!! So which ones do you like best? Kinley MacGregor also wrote MASTER OF SEDUCTION, which is the prequel to A PIRATE OF HER OWN and also stars a pirate. ;) Elizabeth Boyle is coming out with a pirate book in her Bachelor Chronicals series, Pippin’s story, in 2009.

Maybe next week I’ll do Best Pirate Movies (since it’s the day before INTERNATIONAL TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY). Any suggestions?

  4. Christine Says:

This is great, Ciara!!! I haven’t read any of these, but yeah…. a pirate romance sounds very appealing!

  5. Nicola Says:

Great list! I would have to add Captive Passions, by Fern Michaels, an oldie but a goodie.

  6. Emily Bryan Says:

Wanna win like pirate? Pop over to my website at http://www.emilybryan.com/Pirate%20NameContest.htm to enter my PIRATE NAME CONTEST. While you’re there, you might check out my pirate pick-up lines, talk like a pirate page and of course, an excerpt from PLEASURING THE PIRATE. Shiver me timbers, it’s all in good fun!

Some lucky winner is going to receive my entire backlist, a box of books I picked up at RWA in San Francisco and a $25 B & N card to boot!

    Enjoy,
    Emily
