Sookie Stakhouse series by Charlaine harris I love these book series and I have every book in print in my Library. I love these books because the stories keep going just like in BDB. If you love vampire series that carries the characters throughout the series try Alexandra Ivy's Guardians of Eternity series: When Darkness Comes, Embrace the Darkness, Darkess Everlasting, Darkness Revealed and Darkness Unleashed (11-3-09). You'll love the series. Keri Arthur's Riley Jensen series great too; Riley the main character is part vampire and part werewolf and she is fab: Full Moon Rising, Kissing Sin, Tempting Evil, Dangerous Games, Embraced by Darkness, The Darkest Kiss and Bound to Shadows. There are so many more I can recommend, Angela Cameron's Blood and Sex series, Joey W. Hill's vampire series, Sherri L. I strongly suggest you read them if you havent yet, I just finished the 4 first books and cant stop thinking about them! right up there with Edward, Bella and the Brothers! the nice thing about this series is the storie continues along with each new book! they are a must read!!! I started with Lara Adrian but after reading JR Ward, it paled in comparison and I couldn't get back into those books. I also really love Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark series, they are very good but I've even run out of her so I'm now reading and enjoying Gena Showalter's various series, Alien Huntress and Lords or Atlantis. They are all very well written with alot of hot steamy sex and humor! But JR Ward's books are still my favorite and I'm longing for a new one. I didn't care for Covet, her new Fallen Angel book that much which really surpised me. I guess I do need my vampires and not just any paranormal stuff.
