Heh. You aren't alone in not reading Anita Blake. I just recently finished Guilty Pleasures after being really wary, cause I really haven't seen anything nice written about this series in a long time. But I was pleasantly surprised.

You should also try Jennifer Rardins' Jaz Parks Series. It starts with 'Once Bitten, Twicw Shy.' It's fantastic.

My secret source at Borders turned me on to the Fading Lands books -- loved 'em! Fairy tales for grown-up, gotta love it.

You should add Anne Bishop's Dark Jewels books to your list, and the Kushiel trilogies by Jacqueline Carey. Totally immersive experiences.

Hello! I have read 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, and 13 and would highly recommend all of the above 13 would only recommend the firsts 8 but give it a whirl!!!
I didn't care for the Werecat book but you never know. And I have no idea on 9, 10, and 11 so I might have to check back and see what you think before I buy anymore (If you couldn't tell by my blog I have a slight addiction to Amazon that I am trying to beat) So anywho let me know what you think of those series ;) Be my enabler it's okay I won't tell.
Thanks for stopping in! Have a great week.
